Park Your Car
Park on a flat, clean surface. Ensure the car is turned off and parked in its final position.
Unroll the Cover
Remove the Car-lungi from its packaging and unroll it around the base of your car, starting from the front.
Wrap Around
Continue wrapping the steel sheet around all four sides until it meets where you started.
Overlap & Lock
Overlap the ends by 1-2 feet and secure with the included lock strap. Ensure there are no gaps.
Check Seal
Walk around the car to ensure the sheet is flush against the ground with no entry points for rodents.
Done — Protected!
Your car is now fully protected. To remove, simply unlock the strap, roll up, and store.
Will the Car-lungi Custom fit my specific car?
The Custom model with its 50 ft perimeter is designed for: Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Kia Carnival, Toyota Vellfire, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and similar-sized vehicles. Will it scratch my car's paint?
No. Every Car-lungi comes with a foam lining on the inner surface that contacts your car. This foam is specifically chosen to be paint-safe and will not cause any marks or scratches even with daily use.
How long does it take to set up?
Under 2 minutes for a single person. Simply unroll, wrap around your car, and lock with the strap. No tools, drilling, or expertise needed.
Does it work in rain and extreme heat?
Yes. The galvanized iron sheet is inherently weather-proof — it won't rust, corrode, or deform in Indian monsoon rain or summer heat (up to 50°C). GI sheet is the same material used in industrial roofing.
Can rats chew through the steel?
No. While rats can chew through rubber, plastic, and even soft metals like aluminum foil, they cannot gnaw through galvanized iron sheet steel. This is the fundamental advantage of Car-lungi over fabric or mesh-based alternatives.
