What's covered

You can request an exchange within 7 days of the delivery date in these two situations:

1. Size issue. The size you ordered doesn't fit your vehicle. We'll exchange it for the correct size. To avoid size issues altogether, send us a photo of your car on WhatsApp before ordering — we'll confirm the right size for you in two minutes.

2. Damaged in transit. The product arrived bent, torn, or otherwise damaged. Report it within 48 hours of deliveryphotos and videos of the damaged product and the packaging are mandatory for every transit-damage claim (an unboxing video is ideal). We'll send a replacement unit.

Conditions

The product must be unused (a fitting check around your car is fine) and returned in its original packaging with the lock strap and carry pouch included.

Every exchange — and any refund — is processed only after the original product has been received back by us and verified to be in unused condition. Products that show signs of use, modification or improper storage, and requests made after 7 days from delivery, are not eligible.

Refunds are not our standard remedy. Our policy is exchange — the correct size or a replacement unit. Refunds are considered only in exceptional cases, at Car-lungi's sole discretion, and follow the same condition: only after the product is received back unused.

How to start an exchange

Step 1: Message us on WhatsApp (+91 97310 95306) or email carlungi.blr@gmail.com with your order ID. For transit damage, attach the mandatory photos and videos of the product and packaging (within 48 hours of delivery).

Step 2: We confirm eligibility within 1 business day.

Step 3 (India): We arrange a free reverse pickup from your address.

Step 3 (International): You ship the product back to us (customer covers return shipping); we cover shipping your exchange out to you. Customs/import duties paid on delivery are not refundable.

Step 4: Once the product reaches us and is verified unused in original packaging, your exchange ships within 1–2 business days. In the exceptional case a refund is approved, it is processed via Razorpay to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of the same verification.

When does my exchange ship?

Within 1–2 business days of your original product reaching us and passing verification (unused, original packaging). India: free reverse pickup and free delivery of the exchange. International: you cover return shipping; we cover the outbound exchange.

How do I avoid ordering the wrong size?

Send a photo of your car on WhatsApp (+91 97310 95306) before ordering and we'll confirm the exact size — 40 ft to 50 ft — for your model. It takes two minutes and makes exchanges unnecessary.

What proof do I need for a transit-damage claim?

Photos and videos of the damaged product and the outer packaging are mandatory, sent within 48 hours of delivery. An unboxing video settles claims fastest. Claims without photo and video evidence cannot be processed.

Are customs duties refunded on international exchanges?

No — customs/import duties collected by your country's authorities on delivery are outside our control and are not refundable.
